Where bud­get fund­ing will go

PARKS, com­mu­nity groups and sports clubs are among the ben­e­fi­cia­ries of a $39 mil­lion State Govern­ment pro­gram.

The State Bud­get will de­liver fund­ing to more than 750 projects across WA through the Lo­cal Projects, Lo­cal Jobs ini­tia­tive.

These in­clude elec­tion com­mit­ments made by north­ern sub­urbs Green­wicks, MLAs Mark Folkard (Burns Beach), Sabine Win­ton (Wan­neroo) and Emily Hamilton (Joon­dalup).

West Swan MLA Rita Saf­fi­oti said $200,000 was also bud­geted for a dog park in Banksia Grove and she was ne­go­ti­at­ing with the City of Wan­neroo and res­i­dents re­gard­ing the lo­ca­tion.

Gir­rawheen will ben­e­fit from $150,000 via the City of Wan­neroo for traf­fic treat­ments on Black­more Av­enue.

Lime­light Theatre ac­tors, pic­tured in their pro­duc­tion ear­lier this year of will ben­e­fit from fund­ing in the State Bud­get.
