Man pleads guilty to obscene act
A JOONDALUP man has admitted to committing obscene acts in front of teenage girls in Beldon and has been granted strict home detention bail as he awaits sentencing.
Darin Sean Caldwell (47) faced Joondalup Magistrates Court on Wednesday, pleading guilty to one count of an obscene act in public and two counts of indecently dealing with a child aged between 13 and 16.
He had been in custody for more than three weeks while his suitability for bail was assessed after police detained him. He is facing court in relation to committing obscene acts in his car in front of girls at multiple locations on August 21, including the Coles supermarket carpark.
He is due in the District Court on November 10 for a sentence mention.
