JOONDALUP SCHOOL OF MUSIC
WHETHER you want to play music for fun, enter the Conservatorium of Music or perform on X-Factor, Joondalup School of Music can help achieve your dreams, says director Genelle Picton-King.
“Our ethos is for the student to come in and enjoy, appreciate and love music, wherever that takes them,” Mrs Picton-King said.
“A lot of our students will do their AMEB exams and many go on to the conservatorium, with some even coming back to teach for us.”
The school has around 25 experienced teachers teaching a diverse range of instruments and styles.
It teaches all levels from beginner to advanced for most instruments, including guitar, bass, drums, saxophone, piano, vocals, ukulele, flute and violin.
Students of all ages can learn six days a week and also receive a discount at Joondalup Music Centre’s Musical Instrument Warehouse just over the road.
