Kingsley remembers bomb victims

Wanneroo Times - - News -

THIS Thursday marks 15 years since the tragic Bali bombings where seven Kingsley Amateur Football Club members lost their lives.

To honour these men, the club will host a service from 6.30pm at the Kingsley Memorial Clubrooms.

Secretary Amanda McIlroy said the service was also to “acknowledge the devastation to their families and friends, as well as to support our players who returned and other community members who were affected by this tragedy”.

“Seven wreaths will be laid; one for each of our lost men,” she said.

“Their families are also invited to lay their son/brother/cousin’s wreath and say a few words if desired and all are invited to join us at this time of reflection.”

Tea and coffee will be available after the service and the Kingsley Woodvale Cricket Club will open its bar.
