Plans revised for Heathridge complex

Wanneroo Times - - News -

REVISED plans for an apartment complex in Heathridge are out for public comment.

In June, the Metro North-West Joint Development Assessment Panel refused an application for 14 units across 50 and 52 Littorina Avenue.

The panel said the proposal did not meet City or State requirements, particularly for visitor car parking, building height and boundary setbacks.

The applicant appealed the decision to the State Administrative Tribunal and submitted a revised proposal for 12 units.

However, they are still seeking discretion including increased crossover width, building height and front fencing, reduced upper-floor setbacks, balcony areas and landscaping, removal of mature trees and a shortfall of bicycle parking bays.

Submissions can be made until October 11.

A decision on the application is required to be made by SAT.
