Drugs and gun seized after car searched
POLICE seized a pistol and meth after stopping a vehicle and searching a house in Marangaroo last Thursday.
Officers from the Meth Enforcement Taskforce charged two people after seizing the drugs and firearm on October 4. Police stopped a vehicle with two people inside as it left an address in Marangaroo and allegedly found methylamphetamine and ammunition during a search.
They then executed a warrant at the address and allegedly found a hidden semi-automatic pistol.
Police charged a Marangaroo man (31), whom they claim is a member of the Rebels outlaw motorcycle gang gang, with aggravated possession of an unlicensed firearm.
They charged a Yanchep woman (29) with possessing methylamphetamine with intent to sell or supply, possessing a smoking implement and wilfully destroying evidence.
