Wanneroo Times - - News -

THOUSANDS of dog-loving City of Wanneroo residents and their pets packed into Kingsway Regional Sporting Complex for the annual Dog’s Breakfast this month.

Dogs enjoyed washing and grooming services, food treats and free vet checks before strutting their stuff on the dogwalk in competitions such as Australia’s Next Top Dog Model, My Dog’s Got Talent and Date My Dog.

More than 30 exhibitors showcased their goods and services at the October 21 event, including dog training, doggy day care and animal kinesiology.

“This year’s Dog’s Breakfast was a fantastic, fur-friendly, family day out,” Mayor Tracey Roberts said.

“It was great to see thousands of people enjoying all of the free activities, checking out what local dog-friendly businesses have to offer.

“It was wonderful to see people enjoying time with their fur babies in a 100 per cent dog-friendly environment.”

Dogs enjoyed their time in the limelight at the City of Wanneroo Dog’s Breakfast.
