Let there be light
This weekend’s free Kaleidoscope festival in Joondalup starts tonight. What not to miss,
KALEIDOSCOPE Festival will light up the Joondalup city centre from tonight.
Now in its third year, the multi-sensory festival will combine illumination, artistic installations, projections, live performance and food over four evenings until Sunday.
This year’s festival footprint will expand to include Lakeside Joondalup Shopping Centre and Central Walk and feature 89 artists, 17 installations and more than 60 food trucks.
“We have made some changes to the festival site this year, which will give visitors more space and more places to explore,” creative director Drew Anthony said.
“We are closing Grand Boulevard, some of Boas Avenue and extending into Central Walk so people can really go on a journey of discovery.”
Pre-show entertainment and food starts at 5pm, with lights on from 7.30pm.
