Hallora 10/231 vs Jindivick 0/38 Halloran opener Jeff Ward maintained an excellent run of form at the weekend, leading the Kangas to a modest total against Jindivick.
Coming off a half-century in the last round, Ward (109) stepped it up to record a boundary laden ton. Batting through the best part of the innings Ward struck 11 boundaries and five sixes.
Darren Welford (26) was handy at the top of the order and with a slight wag from the tail the home side made it to the 52nd over before being all-out.
Wickets were spread among the bowlers with Michael Van Langenberg returning the best figures of four overs, three maidens, 2/10. Christian Stacey and Jess Sanders chipped in with two apiece.
Tim Jeffrey and Peter Galvin are big scalps and Hallora needs to get them out cheaply to have the best chance.
