RESERVES JUST MISS
A fast finish just failed to get Warragul reserves their second win in a row, something they have not done for several years.
They went down by just five points – 6-6 to 5-7 – with three of the Gulls’ goals coming in the last quarter. They had started the term 16 points in arrears. Jared Lane, Tim Brady, Rowan Lawson-Pepper, Lachlan McNeil and Ben Mackie led the way for Warragul with Jamie Somers kicking three of the five goals and Lane and Lawson-Pepper the others.
