Two airlifted after car, truck collision
Two people were airlifted to The Alfred Hospital following a collision in Brandy Creek Rd, Warragul on Thursday morning.
Police said the male driver and female passenger were travelling north in a Daewood silver hatchback vehicle when the collision occurred at about 9am.
Investigations into the collision are continuing but police allege the Daewoo drifted across the centre of the road and collided with an oncoming truck.
The Volvo truck and fully loaded trailer was driven by a 35-year-old woman. Neither the driver or female passenger in the truck were injured.
Police said the Daewoo was driven by a 25year-old Drouin man. The female passenger was a 39-year-old Drouin woman.
The man and woman were trapped in the vehicle.
They were treated at the scene by paramedics and transferred to West Gippsland Hospital before being airlifted to The Alfred Hospital.
