Seminar to get crafty
An intimate seminar for creatives looking to build confidence, host events and sell their works will be held in Trafalgar on Thursday, October 12.
The seminar, “Selling Yourself – Skills for Creatives” will be presented by Craft Victoria at the Trafalgar Artspace between 1pm and 3pm. It is a free event.
Presenters Gemma Jones from Craft Victoria and Anthea Abell from Full Tilt Nanna will help those in attendance how to approach your audience with meaningful narrative about yourself and your work.
Learn how to use the story of yourself to build your artist biography and add depth and value to your practice.
Gemma Jones is the Crafts Victoria public programs manager. She manages the Craft Cubed Festival and the Craft Hatch Market program.
Anthea Abell is the creative crochet queen behind Full Tilt Nanna. With a background in sales, Ms Abell is also a social media gun for hire and understands the needs and pressures of being a mama, a maker and a business woman.
