MACA sup­ports lo­cal food re­lief

Baw Baw Shire’s road main­te­nance con­trac­tor MACA In­fra­struc­ture is keen to sup­port com­mu­nity or­gan­i­sa­tions.

The com­pany re­cently of­fi­cially opened its Yar­ragon de­pot and at the same time pre­sented a $2500 do­na­tion to Baw Baw Com­bined Churches Food Re­lief.

MACA business devel­op­ment man­ager Mario Pisani said the com­pany was keen to be a part of the com­mu­nity and sup­port or­gan­i­sa­tions.

He said he vis­ited Food Re­lief and met with man­ager Anne Pas­coe. “I was in­spired by what they were do­ing.”

“It’s all about giv­ing back to our com­mu­nity. We re­ally want to give back to our com­mu­nity,” he said.

MACA re­cently opened an ad­min­is­tra­tion of­fice at its Yar­ragon.

Just into the third year of its con­tract with Baw Baw Shire, Mr Pisani said while they had es­tab­lished the Yar­ragon de­pot the ad­min­is­tra­tion of­fice was off-sire.

“We built an of­fice build­ing at the de­pot to en­sure we get the best re­sults out of our ser­vices,” he said.
