Bur­glar­ies in­ves­ti­gated

Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing a num­ber of bur­glar­ies at War­ragul, Drouin and Cross­over over the past week.

Bolt cut­ters and rat­tle guns were stolen from a busi­ness premises in Roberts Crt, Drouin be­tween Au­gust 25 and Au­gust 27.

Po­lice said of­fend­ers cut a lock on the shed to gain en­try to Drouin Con­crete Pipes be­fore steal­ing bolt cut­ters and rat­tle guns.

Of­fend­ers also en­tered an of­fice build­ing in Napier St, War­ragul be­tween 3pm on Au­gust 24 and noon on Au­gust 27.

Po­lice said of­fend­ers caused sig­nif­i­cant dam­age to a rear door to the build­ing and ten en­tered the premises. Noth­ing was stolen.

In an­other bur­glary, of­fend­ers en­tered a hol­i­day house in Gunn Rd, Cross­over be­tween July 21 and Au­gust 25.

Po­lice said of­fend­ers caused dam­age when they forced open a front door of the house. It was un­known what had been stolen from the house.
