Bloods are premiers
It was premiership glory for Trafalgar Football Netball Club on Saturday, bringing home three football and one netball premiership flags. Trafalgar had three football and three netball teams in Mid Gippsland football and netball grand finals played at Morwell. The club had a clean sweep on the football field, taking out the senior, U18s and U16s premierships. On the netball court, the under 17s won while C and B grades were runners-up. The seniors went into the final term 17 points down and a message from coach Clint Einseidel to stick with what they knew. The Bloods responded with a run of goals to seal the game with a 16 point win over Yinnar and its first senior premiership in six years.
