It was premier­ship glory for Trafal­gar Football Netball Club on Satur­day, bring­ing home three football and one netball premier­ship flags. Trafal­gar had three football and three netball teams in Mid Gipp­s­land football and netball grand fi­nals played at Mor­well. The club had a clean sweep on the football field, tak­ing out the se­nior, U18s and U16s pre­mier­ships. On the netball court, the un­der 17s won while C and B grades were run­ners-up. The se­niors went into the fi­nal term 17 points down and a mes­sage from coach Clint Ein­sei­del to stick with what they knew. The Bloods re­sponded with a run of goals to seal the game with a 16 point win over Yin­nar and its first se­nior premier­ship in six years.
