Drug charges follow arrests
A 23-year-old Longwarry woman was arrested when police responded to a family violence incident yesterday morning.
Police were called to the Brittlewood Lane property at 8am as a result of a dispute.
Police arrested a woman at the address who will be charged with assaulting police and possession of drugs.
In other incidents, police also arrested two men for possessing drugs, on two consecutive nights at a Longwarry service station.
Police attended at the Caltex service station west bound at 1.20am on Tuesday morning when they intercepted and arrested a man in the carpark.
The 43-year-old Officer man was charged for being in possession of ice and speed. He was bailed to appear at Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
At 3am the following morning, police also arrested a 21-year-old Dandenong South man who was asleep in his vehicle at the Longwarry service station. Police located a quantity of ice in the vehicle.
The man was charged and bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
More than $5000 worth of property including computers was stolen from a business premises in Masterson Crt, Warragul last week.
The burglary and theft occurred overnight on September 2.
Offenders forced entry via the front door before stealing a Dell computer, an Asus laptop, three I-pads and three Milwaukee cordless drills. The stolen property was valued at $5400.
In another incident, Makita power tools, an angle grinder and assorted tools valued at $1400 were stolen from a garage in Sandstock Drv, Warragul.
The burglary occurred between 5.30pm on Thursday night and 4.30am the following morning.
Police said there were no signs of forced entry.
