Millie makes final of Lions contest
Excitement is building at St Joseph’s Primary School in Trafalgar after grade four student Millie Francis progressed to the regional final of the Trafalgar Lions Club’s Junior Public Speaking Contest.
A huge turnout saw both Millie Francis and Bridie Balfour represent the school in the third round contest between local schools.
The topic was “favourite place in Gippsland” with Millie choosing Noojee and Bridie selecting Willow Grove.
The school was privileged to be part of the event held by Trafalgar Lions Club.
The school wished Millie well for the grand final on Sunday, October 7.
