Mil­lie makes fi­nal of Lions con­test

Ex­cite­ment is build­ing at St Joseph’s Pri­mary School in Trafal­gar af­ter grade four stu­dent Mil­lie Fran­cis pro­gressed to the re­gional fi­nal of the Trafal­gar Lions Club’s Ju­nior Public Speak­ing Con­test.

A huge turnout saw both Mil­lie Fran­cis and Bri­die Bal­four rep­re­sent the school in the third round con­test be­tween lo­cal schools.

The topic was “favourite place in Gipp­s­land” with Mil­lie choos­ing Noo­jee and Bri­die se­lect­ing Wil­low Grove.

The school was priv­i­leged to be part of the event held by Trafal­gar Lions Club.

The school wished Mil­lie well for the grand fi­nal on Sunday, Oc­to­ber 7.
