Women Drouin women played stable­ford on Tues­day, with the event spon­sored by Christa May­dem.

The A grade win­ner Wendy Hitchens with 33 points, fol­lowed by Kaye Feaver with 32 points.

B grade was won by Anne Roberts with 40 points fol­lowed by 37 points.

Down the line balls went to Dagma Forbes with 35 points, Mary Ty­mensen 34 points, Deb­bie Bat­tern and Vanessa with 33 points.

Near­est the pin on the fifth was Kaye Adam, the eighth Megan Ford and the 10th Deb­bie Bat­ten. Karen Adams won the pro-pin.

Next Tues­day is a stroke event spon­sored by Au­drey Smed­hurst and Pat. Se­niors It was a lovely sunny morn­ing for the Drouin se­niors nine-hole event on Thurs­day with short sleeves the or­der of the day.

It was a joint win in the women’s di­vi­sion with Robyn O’Brien and Dag­mar Forbes each scor­ing 17 points.

The run­ners up were Shirley Camp­bel­lSmith, Ethel Man­ley, Mil­dred Lyon, Au­drey Smethurst and Mar­ion Devlin each scor­ing 16 points, and Marg Cox scor­ing 15 points.

In the men’s di­vi­sion the win­ner was Benny Wy­att with 19 points.

The run­ners up were Graeme Alexan­der and Max Luck each with 18 points, fol­lowed by Richard Ford with 17 points, Richie Thomas with 16 points, and Ray Fish with 15 points.
