In­juries from golf cart

A man was taken to hospi­tal with back and head in­juries fol­low­ing an al­ter­ca­tion with four men driv­ing a golf cart in Copelands Rd, War­ragul on Sun­day.

Po­lice said the two vic­tims ob­served the golf cart be­ing driven by four men at 6pm.

Af­ter the fe­male vic­tim asked the men to pick up a dis­carded al­co­hol can, it is al­leged the golf cart was driven at her. As a re­sult, it ran over her foot.

Po­lice said the male vic­tim and two men from the golf cart were in­volved in an al­ter­ca­tion, with the vic­tim punched in the head and body. The four men then left the scene.
