Girls just want to have fun

Thirty-four women from the Lang Lang Rasp­berry Tarts and Gipp­s­land Groovy Grannies from the Red Hat So­ci­ety gath­ered at the War­ragul Coun­try Club for lunch re­cently.

There was lots of laugh­ter and chat­ting as mem­bers from each chap­ter got to know each other.

The ‘Red Hats’ is a group for women of all ages to make new friends and take part in out­ings.

There is no fundrais­ing, with the So­ci­ety meet­ing twice a month for lunch or cof­fee af­ter­noons, or more ma­jor out­ings to the the­atre, movies, gal­leries and more.

The So­ci­ety of­ten car pool or travel in a group on the train, rais­ing a lot of eye­brows and cre­at­ing laugh­ter.

The So­ci­ety cov­ers ar­eas sur­round­ing Lang Lang to Mor­well.
