Licence suspended with 0.184 reading
A Drouin woman lost her licence and had her vehicle impounded after allegedly driving along the wrong side of the road and over 0.05 last week.
Police intercepted the vehicle in Jamieson St at about 4.45pm on Wednesday after it was seen travelling on the wrong side of the road. A one-year-old boy was in the back seat of the vehicle.
The 28-year-old woman underwent a preliminary breath test before being taken back to the police station, where she recorded an alleged reading of 0.184.
The woman’s licence was immediately suspended and her car impounded at a cost of $1291.
The woman will be charged on summons with drink driving.
