Lifestyle a big part of event

CRT Far­mFest field days has all in­ter­ests cov­ered.

To com­ple­ment the stel­lar ar­ray of agri­cul­tural prod­ucts on the field, there is an im­pres­sive dis­play of lifestyle-re­lated prod­ucts in the Lifestyle Shop­ping Ar­cade, out­door Mar­ket Place and CRT Far­mFest Pavil­ion ar­eas.

Hugely pop­u­lar and al­ways filled to ca­pac­ity, these spe­cial ar­eas cater for a di­ver­si­fy­ing CRT Far­mFest mar­ket.

John Cullen, Dalby Ru­ral Sup­plies man­ag­ing di­rec­tor, ma­jor spon­sor of CRT Far­mFest, said the event of­fered some­thing for ev­ery­one.

"We re­ally hope peo­ple will visit CRT Far­mFest to take the op­por­tu­nity to share all that is on of­fer at the field day," he said.

“Queens­lan­ders in par­tic­u­lar have had a bit of a mixed bag of a year, and we are hop­ing the event brings some op­ti­mism along with it.”

This year the Shop­ping Ar­cade and Mar­ket Place area ac­com­mo­dates new ex­hibitors.

The ar­cade has been con­fig­ured to show­case over 40 lifestyle ex­hibitors of­fer­ing a wide range of prod­ucts from hats and crafts to cloth­ing and hol­i­days.

Aged care, ap­pli­ances, cos­met­ics, ed­u­ca­tion, eye­wear and care, fur­ni­ture, glass­ware, floor clean­ers, gar­den­ing equip­ment, handy gad­gets for home and travel, hear­ing care, kitchen ap­pli­ances, home in­su­la­tion, health care, kites, manch­ester, pho­tog­ra­phy, pools, roof restora­tion, schools, skin care, wa­ter fil­tra­tion and many more prod­ucts and ser­vices will be avail­able.

The Shop­ping Ar­cade (SA) and the Mar­ket Place (MP), lo­cated on row G-H/31-33, has par­tic­u­lar in­ter­est to women from the land fea­tur­ing cloth­ing, cos­met­ics, jew­ellery, gift­ware, home­wares and more.

While women play an in­te­gral role in the over­all man­age­ment and run­ning of farm­ing en­ter­prises, in­clud­ing ma­jor in­vest­ment de­ci­sions, the in­clu­sion of a broader range of prod­ucts has been warmly wel­comed and proven to be an over­whelm­ing suc­cess.

The Far­mFest Pavil­ion lo­cated on row G-H/29-30 fea­tures busi­ness and home prod­ucts in­clud­ing ac­count­ing, bank­ing and fi­nan­cial ser­vices, cam­eras, com­puter soft­ware, ed­u­ca­tion, elec­tri­cal ser­vices and more.

The Lifestyle Shop­ping Ar­cade, Mar­ket Place and Far­mFest Pavil­ion will be open, to­gether with all ex­hibits at CRT Far­mFest, daily on Tues­day and Wed­nes­day from 9am to 5pm and on Thurs­day from 9am to 4pm, June 6–8.
