FarmFest fast facts
■ CRT FarmFest is Queensland’s largest field days and one of the fastest growing agri-events in Australia, with more than 60,000 visitors expected.
■ CRT FarmFest is celebrating its 38th anniversary, commencing in 1974, and now representing more than 2000 businesses, organisations and authorities.
■ The dedicated 15Ha CRT FarmFest site at Kingsthorpe Park is being expanded, with 45 new sites added near the northern car park. A number of larger machinery exhibitors have expanded their sites.
■ There is a new emphasis on drone technology at the demonstration area, plus increased Farm Machinery demonstrations including a driverless tractor.
■ For those wanting quick navigation, CRT FarmFest has its own free app.
■ CRT FarmFest has its own radio station – for the second time FarmFest FM, powered by CRT commences transmission during the event.
■ CRT FarmFest is staged over three days in early June each year. This year its Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, June 6, 7 and 8.
■ CRT FarmFest site is located 20km west of Toowoomba, off the Warrego Hwy.
