Old boys get to­gether

COLIN Moor­wood, Glen Buchanan, Bunny Powne and Ge­off Grundy couldn’t have had a bet­ter week­end.

The four men re­turned to their old stomp­ing ground for the Toowoomba Gram­mar School Old Boys As­so­ci­a­tion Re­union at the week­end for the TGS Old Boys’ Week­end.

The week­end cel­e­bra­tions in­cluded the an­nual O’Cal­laghan Cup, in which Toowoomba Gram­mar School and Down­lands Col­lege faced off on the foot­ball field.

The Down­lan­der Re­union was also cel­e­brated at Down­lands Col­lege.

All Down­lan­ders, but par­tic­u­larly those from the classes of 1937, 1947, 1957, 1967, 1977, 1987, 1992, 1997 and 2007, were in­vited back to the col­lege to re­new old friend­ships.
