RACING Minister Grace Grace was welcomed a $120 million blueprint to deliver new and improved infrastructure for the Queensland’s racing industry.

Ms Grace said Racing Queensland’s five-year infrastructure plan aimed to grow racing for future generations.

“RQ’s $120 million Racing Infrastructure Fund will set up the Queensland racing industry for a new era of growth,” she said.

“It identifies a number of key priority infrastructure projects and the government will carefully consider these recommendations.

“I’ve already announced a $6 million country and regional racing package and the $13 million project for the Ipswich Turf Club.

“The other elements of this package are equally exciting and I’ll work closely with RQ to ensure the industry benefits from this infrastructure.”
