How to make your own mint sauce
TO MAKE mint sauce, dry the mint leaves first then crumble up finely so you can get lots more in the bottle. Heat up vinegar with a teaspoon of sugar in it and pour this over the crumbled leaves, allow to settle and top up. Put bottle in a pan surrounded by enough water so it won’t float. Bring to the boil then simmer for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat, put on the cap and allow to cool.
