Community spirit shines

Warwick Daily News - - Opinion -

A WARWICK resident has taken out Letter of the Week and has won a copy of The Woman in the Window for this touching thank you to the kind community members who offer her support.

To be in the running, send your thanks, gripes or thoughts to editor@warwickdailynews.com.au or 50 Albion St, Warwick.

Would it be possible to print a small word of thanks to the many people of Warwick who are always so willing to help me when they see me having trouble with my walking about the town when I do my shopping?

I do not want my name mentioned at all but I am so grateful to many.

My son did his apprenticeship with Ian Campbell before going to Progress Press in Brisbane.

I am Warwick born and bred and always read our paper.

Name Withheld on request

I would like to bring attention to your readers that there are several people in the community who have the same name as mine and a letter to the paper on Saturday with this name was not mine.

There was nothing wrong with the writer giving his opinion and the people publishing this. If I feel a need to give an opinion concerning an organisation I would do this quietly, privately and directly to the appropriate person of this organisation.

John Davis Mullins Rd, Warwick
