Lest we forget

TOMORROW, Sunday, November 11, is Remembrance Day.

On the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month, Australians around the country will pause to remember.

We will pause to remember those that served in the First World War before the guns fell silent on the Western Front at 11am on November 11, 1918.

We will pause to remember all those who have served Australia in all armed conflicts across the world. We will pause to remember.

I urge all Queenslanders to pause to remember this Sunday for those past and present that have fought for Australia.

Police divers conducted a search of ‘The Rockies’ on Wednesday and a Toyota ute that was reported stolen from Rose Bud Court on August 8. THIS is what I worry about people jumping off those rocks. You don’t know what’s in the water.

NOT the same ute as the one driven by the guy who attacked the young girl in Rose Street by any chance?

Iggy Lee

THIS is why we don’t swim at The Rockies.

Tayla Amps

I WONDER what made them search the water.

Amber Brandy Dennison

YEH! Obviously, they know the area to drop off there, too close to home. Judith Newton Felsch

AFTER that, you don’t know what’s actually down there.
