Teens recog­nised for lead­er­ship po­ten­tial

d467551 www.com­mu­ni­typix.com.au d467550 YEAR 10 stu­dents Ai­den Gal­braith and Pa­trick Mar­shall have been ac­cepted into the Sir Charles Court Young Lead­ers Pro­gram.

Ai­den (Peter Carn­ley Angli­can Com­mu­nity School) and Pa­trick (Kolbe Catholic Col­lege) were se­lected for their aca­demic abil­ity, lead­er­ship po­ten­tial and in­ter­est in help­ing the wider com­mu­nity.

The stu­dents will at­tend an in­ten­sive four-day lead­er­ship camp, where they will be ex­posed to a range of chal­leng­ing ac­tiv­i­ties aimed at build­ing con­fi­dence and de­vel­op­ing lead­er­ship skills.

The Sir Charles Court Young Lead­ers Pro­gram, run through the Curtin Lead­er­ship Cen­tre, is based on the shared ideals of Sir Charles Court and former prime min­is­ter John Curtin – vi­sion, lead­er­ship and com­mu­nity ser­vice.

The camp will run from April 18 to 21.
