Weekend Courier - - Opinion It Was Ugly And It Was Unnecessary. -

PERHAPS Bernie Whitworth (Cash is King, Courier, April 7) is unaware that there is a better option than one of the four big banks in the foreshore area?

Rockingham Bendigo Community Bank is on the corner of Patterson Road and Kent Street and offers equal, if not better, service and products than the big four banks.

Rockingham Community Bank, and the Port Kennedy branch, have returned over $600,000 to the Rockingham community in the form of grants to local sporting clubs, schools and other worthy not-for-profit groups.

Local residents and businesses that are in the foreshore area should consider the benefits of supporting a bank that is supporting the local community.
