THE Rockingham Arts and Crafts Association has donated $100 to the SOUL Soup Patrol to help feed homeless people in Rockingham.

The association raised the funds from a crochet-making project after inviting the public to knit a square for charity.

President Jacqi Beaumont said the squares were crocheted together to form blankets, which were sold at the Creative Crafts gift shop.

Ms Beaumont said the shop was run by volunteers from the arts and crafts association who all share a love of crafting.

“Soul was chosen to receive the funds due to their community involvement in feeding the homeless and their new project Village Women,” she said.
