Medium firm wins big
A COMPANY based in Rockingham has won the Medium Business category in the WA Telstra Business Awards.
Enduraclad International is only six years old and started with borrowed tools.
The business has grown to become a global leader in the metal fabrication industry.
Enduraclad International produces and supplies chromium carbide, ceramic and steel components to the global resources industry.
Managing director Jason Kell said the win was testament to his team. “Each team member has contributed to Enduraclad International’s success – they are all well deserving recipients,” he said.
“When I started this company from scratch six years ago it was the people around me who ensured it got to the point where it is today.”
Mr Kell is an avid supporter of providing opportunity to people with disabilities, developing employment and training programs to break down barriers to entry in the workforce.
“Everyone has skills that are valuable,” he said.
“It is just a matter of matching their skills to the working environment.
“We have actively sought to improve Enduraclad International’s training programs with the aim of employing more people with disabilities.”
With a focus on innovation and reliability, Enduraclad International has enabled resource companies around the world to reduce the wear and tear on their material handling machinery.
