ACCENT IS ON TOP QUALITY
HYUNDAI has given its recently introduced Accent Sport a new dark chrome grille and headlight bezel colour, plus a subtly updated interior for 2018.
There are also four new paints finishes: Chalk White, Lake Silver, Pulse Red and Blue Lagoon, joining Phantom Black and Sunflower.
In the cabin, there are new fonts used for the speedo and rev counter graphics, a four-speaker audio system with 5-inch touchscreen display, AUX and USB inputs, Bluetooth phone connectivity, and music streaming and Apple CarPlay compatibility.
The 103kW/167Nm, 1.6-litre GDipetrol engine and 16-inch alloy wheels remain unchanged.
The Accent comes in four-door sedan and five-door hatchback variants – take your pick at $15,490 each – for the 6-speed manual or $2K extra for 6-speed automatic.
There’s also a Lifetime Service Plan, 5-Year unlimited kilometre warranty, a 5-year SatNav update plan and a roadside support plan for up to 10 years.
