GUN CONTROL IS A NO-BRAINER

Weekend Courier - - Opinion -

THE powerful American gun lobby is well rehearsed at constructing disingenuous arguments to rationalise its intransigent belief in a citizen's right to bear arms of mass murder.

However, a state's profoundly inept underestimation of its statutory duty to legislate gun controls has a direct correlation to the population's naively arrogant overestimation of human nature's powers of self-control.

Seemingly stable, but all too often too many are too insane, and counting to 10 is not enough to relieve the rage.

We need to accept our inherent limitations, and entrust the state to protect our better communities from our worse selves.

Gun control is a “no-brainer”. Mark Dyer Rockingham own and run the media without any concern for truth the majority of the time.

It should be clearer now to everyone that the whole corporation run system, owned by private companies, is all about money, money, and oh wait... money!

We all need to wake up to how much we are being controlled, how many rights have been removed from us over many years before it is too late.

The facts about there being no gas shortage, as well as about the thousands of chemicals used, most not even investigated, which harm the land and water, can all be found on the CCWA and Frack Free Future websites.

If you were to ask Malcolm Turnbull and his cronies to drink fracking water or have a well in their back yard … 'because it is so safe' according to them… let's see what would happen.

Thank goodness our Premier has been willing to listen to the facts and encourage the investigations to continue towards a total ban on this unsafe industry once and for all. The corporations at the top have been yanking our chains for too long.

No wonder many people and groups are growing their own food, getting off the greedy electrical grid, using solar or/and wind, finding ways to work together, without this false economy we are heavily burdened by. Bernie Whitworth Safety Bay
