Din­ers do­nate to cen­tre

PEO­PLE eat­ing burg­ers has re­sulted in a $300 boost for the Rockingham Beach Ed­u­ca­tion Sup­port Cen­tre.

The money was do­nated through the Grill’d Restau­rant Lo­cal Mat­ters Pro­gram, where din­ers are able to vote for their cho­sen com­mu­nity pro­ject by plac­ing to­kens in a jar.

Prin­ci­pal Mar­garet Keen said the Grill’d Rockingham team do­nated burg­ers to the 52 chil­dren and 24 staff who at­tended the school camp.

“They trav­elled the dis­tance to Landsdale Farm school to cook us all a mag­nif­i­cent lunch,” Ms Keen said.
