Ultimate lifestyle

AN ELEGANT Paradise Waters mansion has been the ultimate holiday home for its Bruneibased owners for 17 years.

Set on a 792sq m waterfront block, the palacestyle home at 76 Admiralty Drive oozes a sense of royalty with Versace-esque drapes, chandeliers and gold finishes throughout.

Owner Mohammed Shahri built the family holiday home to include a number of formal and casual spaces.

Ray White Surfers Paradise marketing agent Jackson Paradise said that while the residence had a contemporary facade, it offered unlimited design possibilities.

“The owner works in the hotel industry,” Mr Paradise said.

“He lives in Brunei but his children live and study in Brisbane so the home has been a meeting place for when the family catch up throughout the year. He visits the Gold Coast a couple of times a year with his wife because he adores the lifestyle.”

Inside the three-level home, an open floor plan showcases a mix of sunken and raised floors.

“The luxuriousness of it is really attracting buyers,” Mr Paradise said.

“The owner runs hotels all over the world so it is easy to imagine why the rooms are so large and spacious; they really reflect a five-star hotel feel.”

Mr Paradise said most inspections had been made by appointment and a number of Sydney and Melbourne buyers had shown interest.

“There is quite a mix of buyers, but I am seeing a lot of retirees looking to settle in something as beautiful as this,” he said.

“I do hear a lot of wowing from people gushing over the river outlook and how big the home is.

“They love the ensuited bedrooms and the private balconies they each come with.”

The top level has a bathroom, bar and balcony which Mr Paradise said was made for entertaining.

“The home was built with a lot of thought,” said.

“The raised floors work as a really nice platform to look across the pool to the river while you eat dinner. The home comes togethe really nicely.”

The four-bedroom, two-bathroom home is complete with a large swimming pool and alfresco dining space.
