IT HAS been in one family for almost two decades but now siblings are letting go of a glitzy three-level penthouse, once owned by former fugitive businessman Lux Daswani.

The Rivage Royale penthouse is fit for a royal, or a Gold Coast elite like brother and sister homeowners Peter Kyriakou and Athena Jordan, who said the property had been in the family for 16 years.

“After years of holidaying on the Gold Coast, my father purchased this penthouse in 2001,” Mr Kyriakou said. “He was sold on the penthouse’s exclusive rooftop area for entertaining family and friends.

“Set in beautiful gardens, there’s a huge outdoor pool, an indoor pool, a putting green, two tennis courts and a billiard area.

“The penthouse also has an exclusive-use 27m marina berth, 24-hour security and maintenance. Everything is on the doorstep.”

The four-bedroom, five-bathroom apartment is decked out in glimmering chandeliers, ornate mural ceilings and a breathtaking black and gold bathroom.

Glitz and glamour is sprawled across the 825sq m apartment with a showpiece grand staircase.

Mrs Jordan said the penthouse had been upgraded in Hamptons and Ralph Lauren interior styles. “The penthouse has an impressive rooftop area with its own private pool and sauna which makes for great entertaining,” she said. “Guests are always amazed when they see the city from up here.”

The apartment was previously on the market in 2015, when it failed to sell.
