I al­ways tell clients not to un­der­es­ti­mate the im­por­tance of the pow­der room – when guests come over to see your new pride and joy, it is the one place where they can “sit” and scru­ti­nise with­out fear of be­ing caught pass­ing judg­ment.

There­fore do not over­look any de­tail as that will be the point that they re­mem­ber and com­ment to their part­ner about on the way home.

The pow­der room is gen­er­ally the small­est room in the house and there­fore with clever plan­ning, what­ever style you are go­ing for is eas­ier to achieve as there are fewer dis­trac­tions.
