YOU know you’re living in paradise when the locals are dolphins, dugongs and turtles.

Sue and Willem Feenstra fell in love with their property’s location before commissioning David Radic to build a twostorey oasis. The 726sq m land has 30m of deepwater frontage and is on a point.

“The block of land is just beautiful as it has Broadwater views plus views up to Mt Tamborine, so we watch the sun rise and set,” Ms Feenstra said. “It’s just so peaceful and lovely.”

The couple were already living on the island when the land, on one of Queensland’s most exclusive streets, became available to the market.

“We get dolphins and even dugong here coming through looking for food,” she said.

“A sea turtle lives near our pontoon and pops up to say hi every few days.”

Construction of the four-bedroom stone and timber house took around a year.

Spanning the rear of the property is also a heated pool and spa, and covered entertaining terrace and deck.

Find your inner Zen in the yoga room which overlooks the pool and has infra-red heat pads on the ceiling to increase sweat levels during a class.

The kitchen has Bosch appliances, two self-cleaning ovens, a built-in fridge and freezer, three dishwashers, a wine fridge and butler’s pantry.
