Grape place to get a sense of the Mediterranean
A stunning outward flow to entertainment areas like the pool surrounds or vine covered deck overlooking the canal raise this home to special heights
THE grape vines at this stunning Sorrento home can produce litres of wine, according to homeowner Paul Adams.
The waterfront house has a mix of relaxed spaces but the best one is the elevated terrace on the canal front.
Metres of grape vines crawl across the terrace to create a Mediterranean style veranda. The exposed deck looks over the private sandy beach and oozes tranquillity.
Brisbane restaurant owner, Paul Adams, bought the home almost four years ago and said he wanted to live somewhere he would enjoy waking up to everyday.
“The grape vines are gorgeous, I was attracted to how it complemented the house,” he said. “The previous owners told me they could make litres of wine out of the grapes. I do get bunches growing there so I wasn’t surprised.”
