Room has lots of bright ideas
Valcon Homes has devised an innovative way to help buyers work out their interior designs
BUILDER Valcon Homes is giving buyers the opportunity to experience the art of interior design with a new “colour room” in its Broadbeach headquarters.
The Gold Coast-based builder has added 80sq m to its office to give buyers a dedicated space to design their home from start to finish. It includes mood boards, samples and an array of technology so they can see and touch finishes before making a final decision.
The new colour room is the brainchild of Valcon director Jason Doerr.
“Buyers meet in the colour room after they have fine-tuned their floorplan, so they essentially walk out of our office within just a few hours with a complete picture of what their new home will look like and a fixed cost,” Mr Doerr said.
“Our job is to simplify the process of building a new home and buyers have been really appreciative of the new resources we have made available to them.”
The colour room is at 16 Queensland Ave, Broadbeach.
