IT’S so close to the beach, ven­dors Mark and Rhonda Ed­wards can check the surf con­di­tions from home.

“We have a few out­door en­ter­tain­ing ar­eas and from one you can see whether there’s white caps on the waves to de­cide whether to go to the beach,” said Mrs Ed­wards.

“It’s a per­fect work/life bal­ance, you can be wo­ken by the sound of the waves in the morn­ing, and walk along the beach in the af­ter­noon,” Mr Ed­wards said.

“I have an alarm that uses na­ture sounds, so an­i­mal noises, rain, things like that, and when we first moved here, I heard the sound of waves crash­ing early in the morn­ing and thought it was my alarm.”

As well as be­ing just me­tres from the beach, the north-fac­ing res­i­dence also fea­tures a pool, spa, land­scaped gar­dens, deck and pa­tio, and four en­ter­tain­ing ar­eas in to­tal.
