More court for Cousins
FALLEN former AFL star Ben Cousins has again faced court from jail over a drug-related charge.
Cousins was sentenced to one year behind bars in March for stalking and repeatedly breaching a restraining order taken out by his ex-partner and mother of his children.
He would have been eligible for parole after serving six months but failed a drug test while in custody so cannot be released until he completes rehabilitation courses.
The 39-year-old faced Midland Magistrates’ Court via video link from Acacia Prison yesterday, accused of driving under the influence of drugs in November last year, and had the matter adjourned until next week.
