Cops’ huge meth busts
MORE than 100 people have been arrested in a two-day meth-related drug blitz targeting rural areas across the country. As part of the crackdown, 117 people have been charged by police in four states during the two-night operation targeting methamphetamine trafficking into regional areas across the nation.
Police in Queensland, NSW, Western Australia and South Australia carried out raids in 14 locations, including Boggabilla, Marulan and Gillenbah in NSW.
Police charged people with 234 offences including drug possession, proceeds of crime offences and firearm offences.
