Cops’ huge meth busts

MORE than 100 peo­ple have been ar­rested in a two-day meth-re­lated drug blitz tar­get­ing ru­ral ar­eas across the coun­try. As part of the crack­down, 117 peo­ple have been charged by po­lice in four states dur­ing the two-night op­er­a­tion tar­get­ing metham­phetamine traf­fick­ing into regional ar­eas across the na­tion.

Po­lice in Queens­land, NSW, Western Aus­tralia and South Aus­tralia car­ried out raids in 14 lo­ca­tions, in­clud­ing Bog­ga­billa, Maru­lan and Gil­len­bah in NSW.

Po­lice charged peo­ple with 234 of­fences in­clud­ing drug pos­ses­sion, pro­ceeds of crime of­fences and firearm of­fences.
