THE average joe suffers through a hangover with greasy food and a Gatorade.

But if you have a cool $285 to splash on this quick fix, you can bounce back after a night out in less than 30 minutes.

At least three clinics across the Gold Coast have started offering saline drips that can boost your immune system – and blast away sore heads.

Gaynor Simpson, owner of CosMediSpa at Oxenford, said the ‘Intravenous Infusion Therapies’ drips were especially popular during party season.

“The vitams go straight to the cells in your body so you feel better right away,” she said.

At CosMediSpa, costs range from $185 for a Vitamic C drip to $285 for the Myers Cocktail.

“The Myers Cocktail has multi B, vitamic C, glutathione and magnesium,” Ms Simpson said. “Whenever we get new clients in, their first reaction is that they feel energised, their minds are sharper (and) it even helps pain relief.”

Ms Simpson said her clients were an even split of women and men with ages ranging from 18 to 72 – she has even administered a drip at a private residence for an international celebrity visiting the Coast.
