New-look i30 range is now even more affordable for buyers
COMBINING European styling with locally-tuned performance, it’s no surprise the i30 range – the versatile hatch, spacious wagon or power-packed SR – has become such an Aussie favourite, says Robert Bradbury, Frizelle Hyundai Robina general manager.
“When i30 burst on to the scene in 2007, it was an instant hit, and since then it has been awarded Australia’s best car six times,” he said.
“Designed in Germany, it’s all fluid lines and sporty good looks.
“The sophisticated and tech-packed interior offers a comfortable and fun-filled ride, while seamlessly integrated technologies make driving the i30 easier and safer. And under the hood, it’s a top-notch performer.
“Combining athletic power and handling, and an impressive range of driving technologies, it delivers maximum safety, convenience and comfort – all with a liberal sprinkling of style.”
Mr Bradbury said the new i30 series II came equipped with Hyundai’s 1.8L Nu powerplant, which featured Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing that provided up to 107kW of power, while the i30 series II SR had an exclusive 2.0 GDI petrol engine.
The i30 is priced from $19,990 for the active manual, saving $4331, and $21,990 for the active auto, saving $2000.
