Event reaches for the sky

Weekend Gold Coast Bulletin - - BUSINESS -

THE Gold Coast Junior Chamber of Commerce (GCJCC) will host a ‘sky high’ wrap-up event for this year’s Gold Coast Business Week.

The week, which runs from May 14 to 18, provides an opportunity for business owners to network and attend industry workshops.

GCJCC president Chaz Prezident said the week is a fantastic initiative by the City of Gold Coast and will be a positive for the Gold Coast community.

“This event will bring a new wave of excitement to the city and for its businesses that are eager to learn more about industry trends and make further connections,” Mr Prezident said.

“We are also very proud to be hosting the wrap-up event at Q1. It’s going to be a great way to conclude the week.”

As well as showcasing the GCJCC’s commitment to putting the Gold Coast on the business map, Mr Prezident said the Chamber’s involvement in business week will also provide added value to its members through networking opportunities.

“We’re lucky that we also have the support of our event partners, City of Gold Coast, Griffith Business School and Telstra Runaway Bay and Elanora, to really make this an event to remember.”

The Wrap Up Party is open to anyone and will be held on May 18 from 5pm to 7pm at SkyPoint’s private function space on level 78. “We can’t wait to see everyone there and celebrate the week’s successes.”
