performance range vs lifestyle range

When everyone is making workout clothes, how do you know what’s really for HIIT class and what's better suited to a walk up the road for breakfast? A brand should be making it clear.

“Traditional brands like to make a definite distinction between their serious sports range (performance) and their lifestyle range,” says Maltz. “They’ll specify whether it’s for running, sprinting and boxing or for gym or walks. Many years have gone into building the reliability of the brand for competitive sports and sportspeople so they need to credit the high-performance pieces.”

Bottom line: if a label doesn’t spell it out that you are buying into its serious range, it’s probably not suitable for a 10km run.
