3 large bananas, chopped

¼ cup (60g) 99% fat-free

plain yo­ghurt

6 small (15g) flat-based

vanilla ice-cream cones

40g 70% dark choco­late,


1 tbs finely chopped roasted


1 Place ba­nana in a small air­tight con­tainer and freeze un­til re­quired. Us­ing a food pro­ces­sor, process ba­nana and yo­ghurt for 3-4 min­utes or un­til smooth.

2 Scoop ba­nana mix­ture into cones. Freeze for 2 hours or un­til firm (see Cook’s note).

3 Place choco­late in a mi­crowavesafe bowl. Cook on Medium-high (75%), stir­ring ev­ery 20 sec­onds, for 1 minute or un­til melted. Spoon choco­late into a pip­ing bag.

4 Pipe choco­late on top of each ice-cream. Sprin­kle with nuts. Serve im­me­di­ately or freeze un­til ready to serve. #
