QUALITY DOWN TIME
It’s important to find ways to take time for yourself, and if they can be combined with movement and breathing then you’re onto a winner.
Yoga I go to yoga classes at Mysan Yoga The Sanctuary in Kincumber, NSW. It’s a great, nurturing environment where classes are combined with breathing, movement, relaxation and attentiveness to leave you feeling balanced, happy and restored, both mentally and physically.
Beach walk or run Nothing makes me feel more grateful and refreshed than a phone-free walk on the beach with my wife, Catie. It makes you appreciate the beauty of your surroundings and company. If it’s just me, I’ll probably do a soft-sand run followed by a quick dip in the water.
Surfing This is my main hobby… okay, it’s an obsession! Whether I’m surfing solo or with mates, it has a way of washing away stresses by distracting me, and puts things into perspective.
